Last week my man Dj Zimmie hit me up with his newest mix.. it’s something different than the ones I’ve posted before, It’s funny cause last night I just saw a performance about Dj Shadow hitting a party where he grabs the microphone and says to the crowd: This night ‘ama play something different..and at the end he is so grateful with the crowd… (Respect!) AND I LOVED IT!!!! You can see how he is playing records… and having fun… which guys let’s face it… that’s the beauty about djing!

fuckyeahtattoos:Robert Lawson drew this for Munro Leaf’s The Story of Ferdinand. Ferdinand was the kind of bull who preferred spending his time in a field of flowers or sitting in the shade of an old cork tree rather than fighting with all the other young bulls and even the matador in Spain. This was my favorite story as a kid and the message of peace and pacifism has always resonated deep within me. Though I can admit that I am not on his level quite yet, having Ferdinand imprinted on my body is a reminder of the person I aspire to be.
